There is something to be said about how amazing things can be accomplished when people choose to work together in peace. Inside of us we yearn to be a part of something bigger than ourselves.
Mankind is unique. Unlike any other form of life in the universe. We can reason, we can plan, we can admire, we can imagine, and we can create.
There is something remarkable about mankind when it creates simply for the joy it brings. That is when I feel we are most like our creator. That is the moment when the angels can see the image of God in us. The curtain of our frail humanity is pulled back just for the briefest of moments and the divine in each of us shines through.
Bach, Mozart, Galileo, Sir Isaac Newton, Michael Angelo, Albert Einstein, Corrie ten Boom, Mother Teresa. Just to name a few.
There is no animal, no star, no tree or bug or amoeba that can accomplish all that man has accomplished.
It has been said that inside every human being is a unique universe of DNA. There will never be another structure of bones, flesh, nerves, and tendons, muscles, nails, hair, or organs like you or me. Never.
Imagine how many people have lived! Imagine how many are currently living! And yet there are more to come.
When we put our God-given passions to work in a unified and pure mindset it is nothing short of breath-taking.
As an example I found a video by the Virtual Choir. Over 2,000 individuals brought together via youtube in order to create the biggest choir in recent history. Just gorgeous.
Praise the Lord with your natural talents and abilities and continue to grow in your relationship with Him. As we live in obedience and trust we become more aware of His beauty and pleasure in us.
" You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done."
~ Psalm 92:4

And it's what we do in the power of the Holy Spirit that pleases Him.
BelovedBomber: Thank you. God is pretty extraordinary isn't He? :)
That corgi: How true! Jesus said we are all part of the body of Christ and each of us has a distinct place and function that only we can fill.
How beautiful it is when we live believing that we are not only loved but desired and needed. :)
David C Brown: Yes! Amen to that!
