Powerful Love

Valentine's Day is nearly upon us.  Is there someone in your life who could be encouraged by a Valentine from you?  It doesn't have to be anything fancy.  Maybe just a phone call or a visit or going out for coffee.  Its the moments shared that we remember the most. Our actions speak so much more than our words or our gifts.

Jesus Christ gave up everything so that we could be with Him forever.  He did it so that we could be free from the guilt and shame of sin.  He did it so that we could feel and know our self-worth.  Jesus gave us a new destiny because He loves us beyond all comprehension.

This Valentine's Day I plan on setting aside extra time to be alone with God.  I don't have much but I can give Him my time, my mind, and my heart.

What about you?  What will you do to let God and your loved ones know how much they mean to you?

" For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only son, so that everyone who believes will not perish but have eternal life."
~ John 3:16

Love is what it's all about, in the end...

Hi Sincerity,
Yes it is good to show love to those around you, there are so many people who are sad and lonely in this world. The more I experience God's love in my life the more I realize how incomprehensible it is.

Denise: Thank you for the encouragement. Blessings to you. :)

T-Childs: Yes it is. Love is seems like such a simple word with a simple meaning but its meaning is so deep and so powerful. Imagine... God is love! Blessings!

Brenda: Very true. I think that the whole world needs more people willing to love and help without expecting anything back.
Not always an easy thing to do. But when Christians do it with God's strength, people who don't know Him notice. Blessings to you.
