This Easter I reflected on the second coming of Jesus Christ. There are a lot of troubles in the world today that threaten our peace and joy. But when I think about Jesus returning one day to bring justice and peace to all the world I feel hope swell inside me. So I've started a ritual. Every night, just before I feel myself drifting off to sleep, I think; " Jesus might come back tomorrow." And just thinking that brings me peace. It helps me put things into perspective.
And one day Jesus will return just as He said. He told us He would rise from the dead and He did. He promised never to leave us or forsake us and He doesn't leave us. He promised to return and rule this world. And He will.
